Early Signs and Symtoms of Being Pregnant:
Late or Missed Menstrual Period: A symptom of pregnancy
While
this symptom seems obvious, it's a little trickier than you might
expect. There can be light bleeding which can be mistaken for a
light period. Or a period can be missed without it meaning there is a
pregnancy. Missing a period can certainly be a major sign, but it
is not always THE sign.
Morning sickness and pregancy.
A nauseating feeling in the
mornings or other times of day can mark the beginning of pregnancy. This can begin 2-8 weeks after conception.
Breast Soreness, swolen, sensitive itchy, tingly breasts: Symptom of pregnancy.
Sore,
swolen, tingly, sensitive breasts are not uncommon before a period. THis
symptom generally begins 1 to 2 weeks after conception. They
may tingle, throb or hurt. Your nipples and the area around them
(areola) may feel more sensation and may become darker and broader.
Your milk glands begin to develop. Because of an increased blood supply
to your breasts, veins will become more prominent. Other
causes for swolen, itchy, tender breasts can include hormonal change,
oncoming menstruation period, and birth control pills.
Fatigue, Sleepiness, exaustion and low energy: Symptom of pregnancy.
Sometimes
these symptoms arise from one to six weeks after conception. This is
largely caused by high levels of progesterone, the hormone which is
secreted during pregnancy. Other possible explanations are a mild
virus, stress, and any number of other things that can cause these
symptoms.
Headaches and backaches: Symptoms of pregnancy.
Hormonal
changes during pregnancy can lead to headaches. They can begin a couple
of weeks after pregnancy and continue throughout. Other causes of
headaches may be the cause as well, such as caffeine withdrawal,
dehydration, stress, etc.
Darkened Areolas, Darkened Nipples as a sign of being pregnant.
The
nipple and the area around it darkens during pregnancy.
This may begin within the first week or two, or begin later.
Darkened nipples may not be noticably darker for some time. This is often accompanied by tingly breasts.

A little humor... (A very little humor)
A man goes to the doctor. He says, "Doc, you gotta check my leg. Something's
wrong. Just put your ear up to my thigh, you'll hear it!"
The doctor
cautiously placed his ear to the man's thigh only to hear, "Gimme 20 bucks, I
really need 20 bucks."
"I've never seen or heard anything like this
before, how long has this been going on?" asked the doctor.
"That's
nothing Doc. Put your ear to my knee."
The doctor put his ear to the
man's knee and heard it say, "Man, I really need 10 dollars, just lend me 10
bucks!!"
"Sir," said the dumbfounded Doctor, "I really don't know what
to tell you. I've never encountered anything like this before."
"Wait
Doc, that's not it. There's more, just put your ear up to my ankle," the man
urged.
The doctor did as the man said and heard the ankle plead,
"Please, I just need 5 dollars. Lend me 5 bucks if you will."
"I have no
idea what to tell you," the doctor said. "There's nothing about it in my books,"
he said.
"However, I can make a well educated guess though. Based on
life experience I can tell you that your leg seems to be broke in three places."
